Thread: Favourite voice actors and actresses

AN unusual thread, but, the subject matter came to my mind after years of watching lots and lots of cartoons, anime and other animations. I have developed the firm opinion that acting done by professional live actors and the like cannot compare to the work done by REAL voice actors.

Hmmm... here are my examples:

Favourite voice actress in a Western cartoon role: Tara Charendoff (I wonder if anyone knows who she is.... I like her work for one particular cartoon)

Favourite voice actor in a particular role in an anime: the guy who voiced Alucard in Hellsing (every other character should have spoek English.... but Alucard should remain japanese)

Favourite voice actor in anime (overall): Yuuji Ueda !!!

Hmm, Mutsumi's voice actor plays Kagome from Inuyasha, I always thought that was cool.
Also, Lafiel from Crest of the Stars has the same actor as Aoi from Ai Yori Aoshi, while Lafiel's mother plays the same voice actor as Aoi's mother. Odd, na?

And finally, the voice actor of Zim, whoever they are. Awesome voice acting.

Hayashibara Megumi! Bit of an obvious choice maybe, but she's so damn good as Rei, and she can sing so beautifully!

Hayashibara Megumi is a good voice actress; she's talented herself, and though I haven't watched Evangelion, I have to agree; her portrayal of Haruka was good.
