    This time, we downsize a little and shrink our awesome pantsu because we have bit of a treat: our very own birthday girl is modelling for us today.   2. Me So Horny

    One thing keeping a distance between me and much of contemporary popular music is my love for horns. Both rock and R&B neglect the power of horns ever so often.

    I like the sound of several different brass and woodwind instruments, but not so much that of the saxophone. My favorites are the trumpet, the trombone, the tuba (the sousaphone looks even cooler), the clarinet and the flute.   3. Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me

    It was Hayley Williams of Paramore. I had a date with her. I remember at one point being nervous because I wasn't sure how I should do my hair, but then I decided "It's my dream, I'll do it however I want." I enjoy those meta moments.

    I don't have anything really interesting to say with this new entry, I just decided to write one because I haven't updated in a while. I will say this though, Back to the Future is my new favorite movie. Somehow I went 21 years without seeing ...

  4. 'Nother Day In Paradise...right?

    only a month and a half-ish till i get to leave kabul and head home. I expect everyone to throw me a party and have caeks. Lots of Caeks.
    At this point in time im fine tuning my newly arrived laptop to my preferences and heavily modding oblivion. too bad the internet doesnt support my ridiculous amounts of downloads.

    and fallout 3 isnt working, but that doesnt really surprise me. apparently over 100,000 other people are experienceing the same issue. epic fail bethesda.

  5. Nyazov's rotating statue toppled

    The gold-plated statue of Turkmenistan's late leader, Saparmurat Niyazov, has been removed from its giant plinth in the capital, Ashgabat.

    President (deep breath) Kurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, who took power after the strongman's death in 2006, gave the order to remove the monument in January.

    The rotation of the statue, which always faced the sun, was stopped several weeks ago.

    On Wednesday it was removed and workers are now tackling the huge tripod base. ...
