. That just came out of nowhere. Aside from all the romance this stuff reminds me of my life, I can totally identify with Ryuuji, his character is so fleshed out and relatable. Same with all the characters. Wonder what's going to happen in the last episode. I'm gonna truly miss this show when it's done and that's something that can't be said about a lot of the shows I see.

It sure can't be said about American Idol, is anyone really looking forward to next season, with Simon gone and Ellen not gone and all? This'll probably be the last season I watch. Anyways, yup tonight was American Idol again. Just a few quick thoughts here:

--Tim Urban is awful, not even up to the other contestant's middling standards. I hope he sticks around for a while though on the merits of his good looks, this season needs another Sanjaya.
--I can't stand Aaron Kelly for some reason.
--Lee Dewyze sang Lips of an Angel, verifying himself as this season's Theory of a Hinderback guy (see Daughtry, David Cook). He's pretty bad but the judges are already pimping him like crazy. Between him and Andrew Garcia this could be a really, really long season since they're just the kind of bad that will never get voted off
--Todrick Hall looked so pissed at the judges after their critique. It took everything he had to keep from losing his temper and going off on them.
--Alex Lambert is probably the best guy singer but he won't even make the top 12 if he doesn't heed the words of the immortal Wesley Willis. Sing along if you know the words:



Well on to today's hyped album. Does admitting I watch American Idol dissolve all of my hipster cred? I sure hope not! Today's album is One Life Stand by Hot Chip. This is a pretty cool album. Dancey 80s-sounding synth pop. It kind of starts wearing thin as the album goes on but there's some tight stuff in here. 8/10
