Urg, i wanna beat myself over the head with a blunt object.

i'd just discovered some awesome mods for Oblivion (elder scrolls 4) and i somehow managed to FAIL to backup my files. so, whilst trying to get a newer mod to work, it required a separate program, to use the program it required and update, to get the update it required a reinstall...

and thats where shit hit the fan. for whatever reason, i cant update my copy of oblivion. saying some such nonsense about the file being not old or something. so, here i am, saving all my added on files, dumping the dcl's i dont care for (or beat and never used) (like vile lair, thieve's den and frostcrag spire...and horse armor) and reinstalling. cause on the first reinst. it couldn't find the master file (that was frostcrag's fault) and on the second it coudnt find my old saves (nor would it start a new game) hopefully, this time around it will work better...hoepfully ( i have NO faith in this time around.)
