I watched Citizen Kane yesterday. It's hard to separate a movie like Citizen Kane from the cloud of hype and acclaim, freeing yourself to form a completely objective opinion, but I will say I quite enjoyed it. I knew the big spoiler long ago but it didn't matter, the movie was still good despite my knowing what would happen. Kane's issues are expressed well without it ever seeming too blunt or forced. So yeah. The next movie on my netflix queue is Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, we'll see how ...
