The FA have removed the England football captain's armband from John Terry. He is due to stand trial in July over racial abuse allegations after an incident with QPR's Anton Ferdinand. In a statement, the FA said Terry would not "captain the England team until the allegations against him are resolved". Terry, who lost the captaincy once previously, has entered a plea of not guilty to the charge. Rio Ferdinand, Anton's brother, England vice-captain ...
East Fife 4 - 5 Forfar British football teams have not lived up to expectations for the last fifty years, so why should we expect our robots to be any different. The UK entry into this year's Robot World Cup in Turkey were a wildcard entry, and we spaked in the group stages. Being the first time the UK has entered the competition, expectations weren't all that high, in fairness, but if a British team makes a finals, we expect to get to the semi-final at least, driven there ...

More news! I wish they'd confirm some things, but I suppose with 11 years to go, they've got time to sort details. Geoff Thompson, England's FIFA ExCo member, has agreed with Mohamed Bin Hammam, the Qatar FIFA vice-president, that he is "disappointed" with the growing clamour for a winter World Cup in 2022. Bin Hammam said he was "unimpressed" with comments made by Sepp Blatter and UEFA president Michel Platini recently regarding the winter move. ...
