One thing keeping a distance between me and much of contemporary popular music is my love for horns. Both rock and R&B neglect the power of horns ever so often. I like the sound of several different brass and woodwind instruments, but not so much that of the saxophone. My favorites are the trumpet, the trombone, the tuba (the sousaphone looks even cooler), the clarinet and the flute.
