Last Friday (17th June 2011) I finally finished reading "Love + Sex with Robots. The Evolution of Human-Robot Relationships" (henceforth abbreviated as "LSwR"; ISBN 978-0-06-135975-0), a book written by David Levy. Some of my readers might recall that I have mentioned it earlier, at least in the forum discussion thread "An actual chobits" [sic!] in November 2009. My primary reason to read Levy's study was indeed manga-related: curiosity triggered by Clamp ...
Yup, I'm still "keeping up" with Negima via Del Rey's volumes, here's what I thought of the latest one. Spoiler I liked it. A lot more happened in this one than in the last one, though there was also a lot of teasing for things that never came to pass... secrets revealed, pactios galore... maybe in 29! :/ A couple nice things did happen though, we got to see Konoka and Setsuna make a pactio (YES), and there was an interesting, out-of-nowhere reveal connecting the magical world with ...

Well I've finished reading Vol. 27 of Negima, out recently from Del Rey. I don't really have much to say about it by way of a review, cuz honestly not much happened in the volume. Negima fought Rakan, and...? Spoiler and Ako kissed him and that was basically it. Volume long battles aren't that interesting to me, there weren't nearly enough gals, Makie or otherwise. Yeah, I haven't been updating this blog at ALL. Sorry bout that, there's really no excuse except that I'm lazy and have been preoccupied by a new writing project. Plus, who cares, all I do is talk about my dreams and new music I'm listening to anyway. I will try to not be so much of a stranger though. I've always got time to stop by and talk about a new Negima volume though! Yep I just finished 26. SPOILERS AHEAD. Hilarious observations on how the back cover blurbs get ...

I watched Blade Runner last night. It was really good. I started watching it a long time ago but I was a little kid then and I was highly bored by it. This time was awesome though, I truly enjoyed it. So much atmosphere, so immersive. Ridley Scott is like a genius or something. Even though this and Alien are the only movies of his I've seen (I think) OH YEAH I just remembered! I finished Vol. 25 of Negima! Now get ready for a surprise, impromptu review! I was a little underwhelmed ...
