My AnimeB diary has been at a halt for an exceptionally long time. While this does coincide with an exceptionally quiet period on the discussion board, I do not see a strong connection between these two things. It was months ago that I failed to report my finished comics here. Subsequently, I almost ceased to read print comics, and the time I spend reading novels and other books has plummeted as well. Instead I have visited two domestic anime-related conventions since Midsummer, made ...

You know I have been planning a "green-on-white shimapan pack" for a short eternity. Sorted and unsorted pictures and bookmarks have been piling up ever since Wålf-kun and Pepe set the trend in the September of 2007 (see "The Pantsu Thread"). The artist's nick could be Sō or Ao, depending on whom I want to believe. Simple, isn't it? I read the English-language scanlation by Furball and Halbarad of Gaku-Gaku Animal Land. The artwork was between good and excellent, while not as personal as in Aozora Market's epic Marisa Kirisame ...

Wataru Yoshizumi gives 0 points for love, even though she is the author of a girls' romantic comedy. Spoiler The explanation is that she likes tennis. Today I finished reading the second volume of "Marmalade Boy" (ISBN 1-931514-55-0). While good, it gets lower grades from me than MB I. The plot appears to be moving slower, and making the course of the big tennis match overdramatic was a bad move from the author. I would have gotten the point with tad bits of ...
