I think it'll be interesting for me to compile a list of everyone on this forum that speaks something other than English. It might be helpful for the staff on this forum, and it might be useful to our members that might need help in foreign languages.

Now, do not post here if you say "I speak a little Japanese". If you want to be on this list, then you better darn well know about the 日本語能力試験 and be at least at a level 2. Or a native speaker. And I highly doubt we have many of those here. Not to single out you guys who are learning Japanese, good for you, but this is people who can communicate very well in their second language.


So here goes....from what I know. If you wish to be removed, let me know. But why would you want to?

Ditto this. My spanish teacher pretty much sucks, and I'm only fluent in German curses....

I think there's a list in a thread somewhere about language exchanging, but I don't bother to find it

Silas - Danish
Pzycho Leech - Danish
Inukun (whenever he's around) - Danish

Kataja - Suomi and Swedish

it's a good language to curse in

I learned German for seven years, but I no longer remember much of it

Dutch
Mandarin (talk and listen only, never learned to read or write)
Native Language (Chinese Dialect, called Wenzhou-nese, same as above)
German (had classes for 6 years, can hold my own but i need a minute to think.)

alot of other languages that are still basic or mediocre level, but that was outruled

"Suomi" looks so beautiful in the list, but those who accidentally need help with it might appreciate dubbing it "Finnish".

I would be mildly interested. Why should I not learn at least a bit more about the language of the famous code talkers?

Vietnamese.

I haven't, but that's irrelevant. It's not part of my degree.

I'm above level 2, if you're wondering.

I wasn't wondeing that much. I just wanted to weed out all the people going "I speak Japanses!! "Oh gankei deshu kah!!!!". Because I find that incredibly annoying.

You can list me in the french section *nods*
