...and I have nothing interesting to say. So I'm just gonna quote my first post.

The first person to greet me ... who is that fellow, shrouded in mystery? I'm gonna guess it was Kei. Selose was 'kinda new here too' and accused me of being a girl. BobCat still had our respect. hina still had taste in forum skins. And Fluffy kept talking to me in Swedish. Bless And oddly, I remember Negima not being started when I joined this forum. We were still 'Love Hina Forums', so it must still have been very minor.

I miss those days, when I was what ... 16? Nothing to worry about. Can I have a redo where I don't waste so much time?

I think some congrats are in order. And, you've inspired me to look for my own join thread.

Did you join in January 2004? I assumed you were on the old incarnation of Love Hina Forums.

Actually, I wasn't, but my joining does have something to do with that. Back when the forum started over, Ryo and Kei (who IS the Anon, by the way, I found confirmation) were advertising it on OT, trying to kickstart things around here. So, I joined.

And yes, I appreciate the irony of them plugging on OT to get activity here.

Also, I couldn't find a join thread by me. I found a return thread circa February of '05, but that's it.

Oh wow, Fluffy...that's someone I haven't heard from in ages. I'd rather not dig up me welcome thread....It was pathetic.

Congrats, Donkey. I think many of the earlier posts were deleted by Mutsumi when she went through a misguided "tidy-up" phase, so my join post (in which I used a 'entering the portals of Hell' smiley) is no longer about

Most likely. I remember that still rankling a little with members when I had just joined.

I can't think why she went through and did that. A large database was the least of our problems at the time. Could have done with a better server. Fortunately, I think (hope) that Style's learned the value of backing up MySQL by now

Yeah, only way you can back up IF is if you pay them.

And it was apparently a part of some plan to revive the forum, by having a fresh start. Of course, the second part of that didn't work cause he lost interest. So then, not only did we have a dead forum, it was empty too.
