    You all probably know the drill, but I'm gonna copy/paste it all anyway

    The most active member in the Box - IRC is a separate consideration. [Username]

    The most philosophical/political, "serious" member. [Username]

    Nosebleed Award
    The most perverted member. (the member who contributing the most regarding Ecchi) [Username]

    The Stolen Journal
    The Best Blogging Member. [Username, Link to blog]

    Mister/Miss Congeniality
    The member with the best personality. [Username]

    Leader's Emblem
    The best Moderator/Admin. [Username, MUST be a Mod or Admin]

    Q4 Member
    The overall "best" member. [Username]

    Pulitzer Prize
    The best work of fiction written or in writing. [Link to the fic thread]

    Oswin Award
    The best roleplay. [Link to the RP thread, must be active by at least 2 people]

    Metropolitan Medal
    The member with the best artwork. [Link to his/her art thread, and if not applicable, the nominating member's post that contains reference artwork]

    Creative Lifestream's Grace
    The overall most creative member. [Username]

    Please note, that due to an astounding lack of new art, Metropolitan medal has been removed, as well as the Pulitzer Prize, for much the same reason (pm me yelling if I've missed something, or to vote). And, I've added a new topic, The Stolen Journal, which goes to the Best Blogger. I figured this was warranted because, while we have awards for every time of post under the sun, we dont have one for blogging. well, there it is. and if the admins decide Ive overstepped some line in making that category, have them kill me with fire and holy water. (or PM me and i'll remove it)

    Also, i Know its a little early, but i'm leaving aghanistan and i wanna post this while i still have time. I'm Closing the voting on OCT 4th so that gives you 2 whole weeks to be sending me votes.

    as always, no voting for yourselves, and no multiple votes submitted (though, given how lazy everyone is here, i doubt that would ever happen)

      It's official, I've voted. I still couldn't get every topic but I tried, it certainly looks better than the last awards.

      This.

      We had this argument a few years back, and four a year was thought to be okay then (though I seem to recall wanting it less frequently myself). We had activity then. And members. We now lack both, so this whole charade is a bit ... well, annoying. Pointless at best.

      if this is true, then why have i still not gotten an award? i suppose i should have put in the bitchiest member award. but thats just tooting my own horn. you all have a good point. but until they say less awards, it shall continue. and the rest of you, vote. only have 2 people who have.

      Why do you actually care so much, by the way? I'm genuinely curious. These awards are basically 'vote for whoever you can think of at the moment'.

      exactly. no one thinks of me "at the moment" which is a blow to my self-importance. other than that, im not sure why i want one.

      I used to think that way sometime back never really helped up my popularity or whatever


      But yeah, people tend to think of only the past month in terms of achievements; which is why making it, say, twice an year would make only certain months significant in these awards

      So basically, without good activity, they're totally redundant.

      Don't worry though, I'll still vote this time around.

      Oh, and don't place your self-worth on what people on the internet think of you. Not healthy.

      So, Pepe... what you're saying is we should have these 12 times a year, not four? Be a bit of a task, but I think we can manage it ^^

      we've had a problem with votes on these awards for the last few times, haven't we? Even when we've had bouts of activity we've not really had great participation in the awards threads, sometimes not even a vote from everyone who's posted in the news thread :/

      I think we do need the awards every so often though, even when things are slow, because they do help focus people a little and get a bit of chat going

      Well, not necessarily just saying those would give the most accurate results
      Honestly we don't lose anything with these awards anyway, so we might as well do it As long as someone is willing to tally the votes, there's really no problem in doing this
