good. we might have to put that to the test during the dubs. I take it this is you lending support to the idea?
...still need to get an interperator onside![]()

The entire site is dedicated to voice acting, I've yet to try for any roles...really wanted to try for a radio drama.
But err, yeah, there are some pretty hardcore/professional guys on the site! Even real voice actors have come into the site to talk and do stuff. Recently, Crispin Freeman joined...if you know who he is
But yes, From Producing to Acting, the site is a treasure trove of things you can use, especially programs and how-to guides![]()
Holy crud! Crispin Freeman?
Sounds like a pretty epic site..

Afraid not. I've looked him up and none of the anime roles listed for him are in any shows I've watchedAh well, you win some, you lose some
looks to have been a busy fella tho'...
Sounds good. Guess we'll hold auditions soon as Betong's translated a show for us to voice![]()
dubs suck, balmungo![]()

not when they're made by us!
(confidence is not misplaced until we've actually dubbed something!)
I haven't watched a Dub in a looong time, Selose, but I'd like to remind you that just cuz something sucks...doesn't mean you can't be a lettle bit nicer. It's why I talk to you!jking
Seriously though, I like Crispin Freeman for other reasons besides being an anime VA. He also does a few radio stuffs.
All I'm saying is, that you'll find good programs to use there. And I would really like to see a dub from people mostly from animeb![]()

I'd watch a dub by uswe just need to shoe in a Mexican so selo can take part
good programs? nice start. Any recommendations on inexpensive equipment and the like? Suggested between-speech drinks?
Of course, the hurdle would be that we'd have to translate something first, or find something that's been dubbed and redub it... I'm not sure this is going to work![]()
Well, from the standard discussion. If you're just getting into VA'ing and aren't sure if you want to do it for a living for any sort, then you go with the Logitech Microphone you can usually find in department stores. It's got good quality despite being a cheap mic, and editing some settings give it a better feel. I can say right were I am, the Logitech mic is about $7.99 US dollars.
And to your other question, for in-between drinks, WATER IS A MUST! Water water water, you can't have enough!!
As for redubbing and dubbing, find a subtitled anime, get a writer to rewrite the screen scenario so that you can ad-lib and PRESTO, you have a working Dubbed anime![]()

ad-libs? Oh SMK, no! Aniki must be allowed nowhere near this project. Whatever we choose, be it a kids show or something aimed squarely at flourishing teens, will have to be set as an 18 rating if he's involved
ad-libbing would work best in a conference environment, which might be difficult to record in. I think I have a Logitech mic, actually, but it needs replacing because people keep rolling over the cord :/

thank you... I'm glad to see someone sees what I'm saying for once. It's just not a workable idea, we must have a structure
We got a writer to work with us on the wiki when it was up. You can see how well that turned out...![]()
. Speaking of which...neede to start a thread in welcomes and farewells
