    Not everyone though, I'm afraid.

And have any of your patients ever had to climb in a giant living robot and fight to the death over a city you don't really care for?

...And all you really fight for is trying to impress you dad, who left you and never cared for you at it all, and he still doesn't recognize you at all Ikari's not making Shinji's life any easier to say the least.
    ...and a hopeful new year!

Pssh at least his dad didn't abuse him for his whole life and give him deep cut wounds all over his body. Or a dad who raped her own daughter.

Also people that suffered and finally stood up with the power of their will and rage, like muslims, would praise god for such a gift as a giant robot. They wold take it and then go destroy their f*cken enemies.

Have you read Shinseiki Evangelion: Gakuen Datenroku. It is a manga which sets place in one of the many alternate dimensions. Instead of giant robots they go one on one human carrying weapons vs angels. That one gay guy who was an angel in the original starts off in the series working with Rei. Shinji happens to be near them one night in their fights. He's also mroe assertive this time around. It seems pretty interesting.

I'm not a fan of all the manga spinoffs of Eva. Or at least, I haven't seen one that catches my eye as yet.

What, you mean the new films? Not been released on DVD yet, so no. I'm assured by friends that they're great, though.

    [action=hinarei]hadn't been paying attention [/action]

Yeah, I loved this First real hooge expenditure on a series was when I was nabbing the Evangelion VHS tapes Made a mistake getting tape 13 before 12, thought I had 12, went back for 12, found I didn't have 11 and they wouldn't get it in for another month

Put a bit of a downer on things

I still feel as though I've not watched all the ending movies, even though I feel sure I have them all

Don't watch Death and Rebirth. It's just a rehash of the series.

    I hate those things.

Blah, English, always complaining about something.
I believe there's only a few pics I've seen that are better than that one.
I guess you can't please everyone, no matter how hard you try.

The End of Evangelion is also pretty famous, and the movie Åsna and Selo talked about, which I believe to be "Rebuild of Evangelion".

    Rei > Asuka.

End of Eva is what you need, if you want a 'real' ending, rather than Anno's sadist, otaku-hating original masterpiece.
