Well, its not stated in the story itself, but I think an explanation is owed in order to make it understandable. Lock snapped so fast because he was under an immense amount of pressure due to the school exams he had just taken, if he didn't pass them, his parents were going to basically disown him , so all that stress just lead to him going insane.Originally Posted by Mr.Anderson
To be more precise, its just easier to say he was practically insane by the time the group had arrived at the cabin, the walk just gave him time to think and that finally sent him over the edge. The only reason this isn't stated in the story is because by the time Ryo got to him, he was so far gone that all he could think about was stopping the music in his head.

I like this very much. I especially love the fact that I lived, and that I was mostly sane (after I went to the psychological place). But what I love most is the fact that I miraculously aged 4 years (or more).

how abouts you change the back story a little so that it's just my stepmum with my dad not having any care either way.
And then add some exotic crazy people that i hang around with sometimes outside of the college when i wasn't with the selo, hina, KK, and Ryo as the other reason i went nuts. Make it so that one of them had gone crazy the year before and i'd eventually got it from them after an incubation period. like you implied with ryo at the end.
oh and i agree that song would be definitely enough to drive you nuts! lol

Alrighty, since people seem to have taken a legitimate interest in this, I think I've come up with a fun idea. To anyone who is interested, write up your own little short horror story and send them to me Via PM, I'll read them and choose one as a winner, the winning story gets posted here and the winner gets to help me make Horror story #4. Alright people, get writing, submissions are due by Oct. 13th, and may the best twisted mind win.
