(now that my flashy super cool game title has gotten you to read this)
Well, I noticed this board has been kinda dead, compared to places like the dreadful Happy fun forum, so I suppose I'll try to liven it up a little bit, if you all choose to participate!
I got this idea from another forum I visited, and it seemed like a lot of fun, so hopefully we can get enough people for this to work out well.
Its basically like this:
I'll get a bunch of signups, and depending on the response here, the limit to players will be set. So once all the preliminary set up has taken place, we can get into the fun!
This will be a gaming competition to test all of your abilities! I'll scower the web for a variety of different online games, like the ones featured in our wonderful arcade (I dare you to beat my score at snake!) and you will be competing against your fellow members in a plethora of challenges!
Once the game is posted, you will have 48 hours to send a screenshot to me with your score on it, via pm. Once the time is up, no more entries will be accepted, and the scores will be tallied and ranked. You can play the game as much as you want, but only one screenshot will be accepted, so make sure its your best effort
!
So, how does this carry on, you say? Well, depending how well you do on the game compared to everyone else, you'll be given points that will go towards your cumulative rank (1st place gets 20 points, 2nd 16, and so on
). After every game, the player with the lowest total point score will be eliminated, so you have be a skilled player to survive game to game!
In addition to this, the first player to submit a score for the game being played at that time will recieve bonus points, more incentive to get cracking on your high scores!
When the competition has thinned out, there will be a playoff style format, where players will go head-to-head with one another to claim the eventual champion!
Now, now. I know you might just do this for good spirited competition, but there is a prize. I'd be persuaded to give the winner ALL of my forum points if we get enough participation!! So so, if you're interested, or have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I glossed over a bunch of things, so I'm sure they might not be entirely clear
Hopefully we can get a good turn out, it should be a blast!
