Chiaki was dismissed from classes since she was the cousin of Watanuki, a player at the tournament. When she arrived there, she saw a depressed Area watching the game.
"What's wrong?"
Area was surprised by the sudden appearence of Chiaki, but quickly dressed herself up with a fake smile. "Shouldn't you be in classes, Chiaki-san?"
She answers negativelly, repliying she had been dismissed. Asking the same question to Area, she was informed Area didn't have classes at the time being, so the two of them decided to have lunch together with Watanuki.
However, Area did not grow happier, even if she used always the smile to confort Chiaki.
"I see... you just don't trust me enough..." Chiaki was angry.
Area sighed and finally declared what was troubling her, for Chiaki's amusement. Watanuki had just scored two more points for his team.
"He is avoiding me since yesterday. When I tried to talk to him as soon as I entered the gym, he'd ignore me... and that hurts..."
Chiaki sighed. She didn't understand the feeling, so she kept silent. She wanted to wait until the game had finished.
