Well, when you RP, it's basically like telling a story and acting things out through words. The best thing to do is to think how your character would think, and act how they would act. In other words, you have to become the character to be able to RP them properly.
Also, it's good to be literate. None of the *walks around* or *does bankai* crap. It's better to go into detail. ;D
