My poor excuse is that I never left. Once I had to take my time to admit to myself that I cannot conscientiously follow all that's going on here. Later I had to take my time to admit that I cannot conscientiously take part in running the Kalmar Union. I'm afraid I aimed a bit too high.
I suppose most people simply "lay back, kick their feet up, and just lounge" when they hang on Internet discussion forums. Well, not me. I'm putting some effort into every posting, notice it or not. Here, a good deal of that effort goes into writing in English, Swedish and other languages that are foreign to me. In my primary forum, where I can use my mother tongue, I eventually became a global moderator, which still feels odd if I think about it.
Sometimes I look at you real AnimeB veterans, not knowing whether I should envy you or not. AnimeB does not feel like home to me; it feels like one of the most familiar and cosiest inns I've ever found on my virtual journeys.
