I've tried archery, and I seem to find the western (European) stance a bit fun. However, I was taught the eastern (Chinese) stance when I was a kid so I'm more comfortable with it. ^_^
Also, my surname Zhang has a character for "bow" in its left part. Mythologies, etc. about the first Zhang being assigned a divine bow or something.
