[Z]

Today there was something going on at the newly constructed water stadium. Hundreds upon hundreds of spectators were gathered in the spectator boxes anchored to the stadium walls, with waterfalls cascading in between. All of that flowing water was emptying into a moderately deep pool at ground level, which surrounded a relatively small patch of dry concrete to stand on. Around that were thermoplastic discs of roughly 5 meters in diameter were floating in the water.

THIS was the water stadium in which the next of the Motoko Brigade Championship matches was to be held. On the concrete circle in the center stood three people.

The first was Z-Udgey, clad in his black judge's cloak (as usual).

Off to his left stood an impressive man, wearing only martial arts pants, and incredibly buff - his muscles stood out, owing to his training in the mountains. Atop his head was the customary long, messy hair of martial arts masters. Besides his fists, the only formal weapon he carried was a pair of nunchaku tied on his back.

In comparison, the other man on Z-Udgey's right echoed a more subtle air. He was small in comparison to the hulk nearby - however, he had on clothing hearkening back to a different era: white full body suit with armor plates on top, coupled with a black-on-red cape. His hair was also long and black, yet was finely combed and seemed to flow whenever a breeze went by. He had at the ready two swords sheathed at the sides (a jian and a katana), in addition to a three-piece staff on his back, under the cape.

"Morning, ladies and gentlemen! Today we feature the fifth match of this tourney! Off to my left is Kenshiro, and to my right is Kano Kirishima! These two competitors shall face off in a short while! In the meantime.... gentlemen, shake hands."

After a quick shake, Z-Udgey went on with the pre-match routine.

"This morning's match shall feature the Water staduim! Besides this concrete circle, there are plastic disks floating about, and a 3 meter deep pool encircling the center. Either competitor may use the field to his/her advantage."

"And now," lifting his hand up in a pre-karatechop manner, "Heaven or Hell? FIGHT~!!" His hand cut at the air in between the two competitors.

With that Z-Udgey did a backflip and landed in the referee box anchored at the edge of the stadium.
