For some bizarre reason (US government brainwashing for most of the 20th century), a lot of members have adverse reactions to the red flag. I'm loathe to ban it though, what with my own political tendencies. I suppose a justification could be that sigs appear throughout the forum, not just in SSF, and we don't allow political discussion anywhere else.
And yes, I'm aware I just broke that rule a bit. Sorry.
