Repetitio est mater studiorum: My favourite LH girls are Shinobu, Kanako, and Mutsumi. Quite a logical top three, aren't they?
Now, slowly getting more familiar with Negima, I have been comparing the Mahora girls to find their premier counterparts within LH. I bet most of us do this on some level. And most of us will say, "Nodoka Miyazaki is a rather blatant copy of Shinobu Maehara." Right?
But when I say, "Yue Ayase, despite the differences, represents Kanako Urashima", how many will nod in agreement?
And when I claim that Mutsumi Otohime does not have a clear follower? At least in the beginning of Negima?
Hmm.
As I have stated, I find Nodoka more adorable than Shinobu in many ways. After all, she shares more interests with me, and appears slightly less timid in my eyes. Maybe her family background is not quite as troubled as Shinobu's?
...And now follows the point of this message.
Yesterday I ran into a dōjinshi depicting, among other things, a flashback of Kanako's childhood. And that is when I realized:
part of Nodoka's appearance comes from Kanako. That is one reason why I find Nodoka so beautiful. She is an amalgamation of
two of my favorite LH girls: Shinobu - and child Kanako hiding behind her bangs!
Ahh. The mere thought of all this kawaiiness - the sources and the results combined - makes me sigh. So lovely.

Just wanted to write this down for myself... But comments, questions, accounts on similar realizations, etc., are more than welcome.
