Nekko brings up a good point. Cats = Girls.
However, I've pretty much grown up with nearly 20 cats in my damn life, and I know how they are. Cute when they're small, obnoxious when they're big. They start out cute 'cause they can't take care of themselves all that well, and they do look pretty adorable. However, when they get older, all they want is for you to feed them and pet them, and then they run off when they get bored of you, in search of another unsuspecting victim. They're like freaking parasites when they get older.
A wolf, yeah the wolf is freaking awesome. It's much more independent, and it plain just kicks ass. I'd rather have a wolf at my side ready to maul someone than a furry, four-legged Cartman (the South Park character) running around next to me.
