Daredevil of the Marvel universe.
Especially as done by Frank Miller. Jo Duffy used to write nice plots too, but was being too openly educational.
Rorschach of "Watchmen" by Moore and Gibbons ranks high as well. I hope they will not ruin his character in the movie version.
As a little kid, I admired the
Fantastic Four.
And out of the big three, I prefer good ol' Spidey.
