Signature Banners

Help wanted!
The Motoko Brigade needs Graphics!

Mostly in the form of Banner style images to go in people's Signatures, if so desired.

Rather than having just one general banner, I think it would be best to have as many as possible. So, I'm opening this up to whomever wishes to try.

It's not too hard. Just design a siggy pic.
Of course... There are a few stipulations:

~Picture: Must have at least ONE image. (Stock image) And it MUST be of Motoko. (Obviously. XD)
So long as you have one Motoko image in the sig/banner, you're free to do as you wish. Adding in any background desired, any more pictures, or even other characters. But Motoko must be the PRIME focus of it. This IS the MOTOKO Brigade, after all.
Just try not to make it look too barren, or too crowded/complicated.

~Text: It must say, somewhere on the sig, "The Motoko Brigade".
As long as that's there... You're free to add additional text. Maybe a quote, or a good line that would fit with the theme, or concept of Motoko or Kendo, or something like that. You CAN put your name on the sig... But only if it's intended to be ONLY your sig. Others cant use a sig with your name on it. You CAN make a general one with no name, then make another of the same with your personal nick on it, if desired.

~Colors: Anything goes. So long as it looks decent.

~Size: Here's the tricky part. We cant just go around making MASSIVE siggies. That's just wrong. (Plus, people will complain.) Not to mention, if people are in multiple brigades, a large banner on our behalf would make it less likely to be used in people's sigs.
There should be 4 primary size types:

-Massive (200 high x 600 wide) - The ABSOLUTE biggest size. Nothing bigger than this will be allowed. This is for those who want to use the banner in their sig, and NOTHING ELSE. The size of this is the same as most of the older sigs I've made. Example

-Full (150 high x 400 wide) - The Large size. Will do good if this is the primary thing you want in your sig, maybe only along with some text, or other small pictures. (What's in my sig right now.)

-Strip (80 high x 300 wide) - Good short, but wide sig. Good for those who just want a little accent to go along with the rest of their sigs.

-Button (40 high x 100 wide) - The smallest size. Good for those who have LOTS in their sig, including banners from other brigades.

Keep your intended audience in mind when making your banner. It might be a good idea to create one of the same style, but several different sizes to accomidate for different people.

~Quality: Since we are representing Motoko... And hopefully in a VERY positive manner... It should be evident that we want the quality of our banner to be as good as possible. Try not to use crappy overused images. Dont stretch or distort them so they look pixelated, or akward. Well Done fanart is good. Crappy sketches usually arent. Try to avoid using a program like MS Paint to make your sigs if at all possible, since it's very harsh on quality, and poor tools to use for sig making. If you put good effort and make a nice product, it'll probably get accepted.

~Acceptance: All entries will go through a rigorous screening process (by me, of course) before they will be accepted as OFFICIAL Brigade Banners. I will make sure the size is right, the pictures and text is good, and the quality is up to the standard desired for representives of the Motoko Brigade. I may ask you to make a few adjustments, but overall... I'm really not THAT picky. (Just no crappy Anime images, please... ^_^;;; ) I suggest you try to use a program such as JASC Paint Shop Pro, or Adobe Photoshop for Banner making. MS Paint USUALLY is not a good choice... Unless you are very patient, and exceptionally skilled. =P

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Thank you very much, and good luck! ^_^
