It's that time of year, folks. The time when a young person's fancy turns to thoughts of renewal, fresh rolling hills, and... tidying up

We've been a bit of a slovenly lot round here as of late. The posts are a bit erratic. Threads posted here there and underwhere. It's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it.

That someone is open to discussion.

I intend to hold interviews for our cleaning staff. These interviews will need some discussion, involving reasons why applicants would be good at their job, scoring in special areas and, naturally, pictorial evidence that applicants can at least carry off the uniform.

This enterprise is sponsored by Mandipantsu Corp., a subsidiary and wholly owned branch of the NoseBleed Brigade.

So, I'm asking for everyone, and I mean everyone, to submit pictures of anime characters or original characters (loosely connected by way of being fanart and not real and stuff), in servant's uniform Maid outfits, that sort of thing. Feather dusters optional

Just to show we're open to all, I'm not just looking for female applicants. We can't expect these young ladies to clear out the girl's locker room here, can we? So I'd welcome pictures of able-bodied young bucks in servant's uniform too, mostly to do the heavy lifting Some of those tricky jobs about the board need a bloke's touch, as you'll no doubt imagine

Interview Panel

I'm looking for judges of refined taste to give our candidates the once-over. I'll be needing the expert eyes to be capable of scrunitizing both our female and male applicants and basing their picks on the following areas to determine suitability for the positions available. Please inform myself or Miroku via PM.

Arbitration and Tottying Up

I will be collating votes and scores after judging has been completed, In the event of a tie between applicants once judging has finished, I will also have final say on who places where After careful scrutiny of all available reference material, that is.

Interview Scoring System

The scoring system to determine suitability is as follows:

Candidates will be scored on Outfit (costume design), Cleanliness (whether the character is any good with a duster) and Dirtiness (whether the character is... any good with a duster )

Outfit - /30 points
Cleanliness - /30 points
Dirtiness - /40 points (it is an NBB contest, after all )

Conditions of Entry

Pictures can be either anime characters, or original characters, so long as they are not real people.

Pictures must conform to NBB guidelines, lest a visit from the Agony Aunts results. Ecchi, no hentai, attention to detail without being too detailed, no extreme themes, as we want our contestants to be tidy, but perhaps not too attentive to their clothing

Application Deadline

I'd like to start this contest by the end of next week if possible. Entries and judges requests need to be in by the 20th April, but pictures do not need to be posted by then if you've got a lot to sort through.

Interview Deadline

Final judging date will be posted when we know what sort of numbers we're dealing with

Judging will be taking place over the weekend of 26th April, hopefully

Max 2 pictures per member

Now... get our there and scour your resources for the perfect character you wouldn't mind cleaning your clock

Maria-san, of Hayate no Gotoku fame, will be helping out with the logistics part of the judging panel.... serving drinks, bringing snacks, and so forth. She'll also be a seed player if necessary to balance out the numbers of contestants .
