Highschool of the Dead
It's currently one of my favorite Mangas. Basically for those who haven't seen it, it starts out with Resident Evil zombies (Slow, stupid and blind) overrunning a highschool and a few students that are fighting for their very survival.
You can find a copy here: Highschool of the Dead Manga - Read Highschool of the Dead manga scans online | One Manga It's a pretty safe site without any pop-ups - So there's nothing to worry about there. Also the first chapter is a bit gory but for a Manga about flesh eating zombies they don't get into it as much as they could.

Yeah I keep up to date on this manga, despite my general dislike of zombie-type stuff.
It's quite enjoyable and pretty realistic...well as realistic as manga goes  Love it.

While I'm not a fan of horror-anything, nor do I enjoy zombies, and I'm not one for blood and gore, and I hate apocalypse-stories, I am taking a liking to this series. It's been written well and I agree with Balmung regarding the realism.
Good series... though I may only be saying that cause I wanna bang Saeko-san.  Me and girls with swords

You guys know that the author was originally a H doujinshii writer. Also I LVOE THIS SERIES! Tons of nice little trivia stuff ehre and there. The sereis itself is AWESOME! Love it so much I ahd to buy the series instead. Really great artwork, and pretty awesome storyline. It also refers very closely to what zombies are suppose to do. IDK I jsut love reading about zombie stuff adn this series compiles the best of the best of zombie stuff.

It's nice to see that HSOTD has the ability to draw people who normally don't go for the zombie thing.
But there's been something I've been wondering about Saeko: I know she gets her rocks off by using her sword but back in the chapter where they get into her darker side - I still don't get why she had trouble offing those zombie children. Does she have a weakness for them (nothing creepy)? Is it because she didn't want Takashi to see her killing a child with glee? Or is it while she could easily find joy in hurting an adult, children are a completely different story? Personally I think it's one of the last two.

She did kill zombie kids actually, it's jsut that she fears for Takeshi to see what she's really like. Her lust to kill was about to reappear at that moment, and she did not want him to see her that way. The kid itself was no more than another bag of walking flesh for her to beat upon, seh doesn't care about it beign a kid.
Dammit the one thing that botehrs me is jsut like how that one guy said when he saw the zombie nurses. "What a waste." So many hot girls running around and they are being offed by these mofo zombies.

Damn, I think I'm ****** in the head - that part with Saeko-san's dark side just made me like her more... eh, good thing I've already come to terms with the fact that I'm insane
 I'm gunna be royally pissed if they kill her off. It just seems like something that is very possible... Possible spoiler for chapter 15+

Lol exactly same thing going on here! Oh yeah, I also feel this series is going to end with everyone dying. That or the girl, teacher, and dog are actually able to escape to a livable but isolated island.I jsut saying through how it feels at the moment and how zombie stories go. This has that feel to it.

I think that most of them will survive. But if I had to say one of them was going to die for sure, my money's on Takashi. And I'm usually right about this kind of thing.

Interesting. He's always reminded me of Yonro from Crayon Shin-chan, that otaku drop-out student; probably because of the way he looks.

Have you also notice that all the titles of each chapter is a reference to a famous book, play, or movie? It's the name of the thing and one word is jsut replaced with dead. Alice in Wonderland, Alice in Deadland. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, The Good, The Bad, and The Dead. Etc
