Have you ever cried after watching anime?

The question is simple have any of you peoples from the forum cried while watching an anime?

I`ll be honest I have never cried but I have got this lump in my throat or what ever

I have never cried from any show, book, manga, movie, anime, etc before. A few times the endings were like real sad in an anime, my good side starts feeling the humanity and crap, I will feel bad and start thinking about it in my mind a lot. The next day I wake up I'm over it. You know I must have 2 personalities because I can feel bad for sad things and by all about humanity, yet I'm also a guy who doesn't give a shit about things most of the time and enjoy watching people get hurt and die. I laughed when a homeless guy was hit by a speeding car in front of me. I laughed when a kid at my school ripped in mouth while climbing the fence. I enjoy watching videos of people dying from recorded films of the holocaust and stuff. Genocide stuff is funny to me. Old disabled innocent man getting thrown out the window = I can't breathe from the laughter.

So the answer to the question, NO I have never cried before from watching an anime. I just feel bad that it is now over and I'm not going to be able to watch what happens next, or if kids die, the girls dies, apocolyptic ending.

I haven't really cried, but I've been pretty moved by some of them, more than I usually do by regular movies, series etc... That's quite rare, though - usually I'm more like "oh... that's sad, I really liked her..."

I dont know why, but there is something with anime that ragular movies dosent have. Anime is the only thing that ever made me feel weird and thinking about over a few days.

a half of tear from an eye counts as crying? I have been moved with air and shuffle. but it's hard to cry because an anime, it's easier with a movie or a dorama... stairway to heaven, a litre of tears and I'm sorry I love you Doramas are very emotional... if you don't cry with them you are not human.

Holden Caulfield is just really nice
I cried at the end of Sailor Moon. You know, after plowing through 200 episodes and a bunch of movies, it's a great big letdown when it's all over (I also cried in the manga and PGSM). I also cried in Evangelion, that was a VERY moving anime.
