Well... This is the latest series I've been watching. (If anyone ever looks at my Episode Update bit in my sig...)
I'm posting this before I watch the last episode of the series...

I think... I've found an anime better than Ai Yori Aoshi. O__o;;;
(Well, AYA Anime beat Love Hina... And now Suzuka beats ALL!)

I havent cried this much in a series... since I read the I"s manga for the first time!


Suzuka... Is a Romance Comedy. Well, more Romance and Drama than anything... But still.

I first stumbled across the manga in the bookstore. Looked interesting, so I read.

My FIRST thought... was "Love Hina Clone".
Guy comes to Tokyo for school... Sees a really cute girl... Winds up living in and working for his aunts dorm (All Girl, of course)...
Later turns out that the girl he saw LIVES in the door... And right next to him, in fact!
She's the cold, tomboyish female lead... Other characters: Loving sister type, annoying drunk girl type, clumsy Megane type, shy Miko type...

It's all been done before, right?

Well... It was alright... So I decided on getting the second volume...
By the end, the main character, Yamato Akitsuki confessed to the girl he liked, Suzuka Asahina.

...Well, I cant tell you the result... But the point was, so soon?
Ohhh, but that was just the beginning of a LONG and TWISTED story!

Despite being so 'common' and run of the mill at first, Suzuka broke free like an underdog sprinter to come out on top!
Love, Heartbreak, Twists... This series was AMAZING!

And despite all the turmoil... Still a happy end!

I cried... So what. You got a problem with that?
I cried SEVERAL times! It's heart wrenching!


So, if you like a good Romance series... Or a nice drama...
One that will give you a different perspective on your standard happy Romance series... Watch Suzuka!
It's realistic. Far more than most series of it's type. ^_^

Ah yes, great show/manga. I liked this more than the love hina anime. Definitely recommended (Chao loves this show!)

Well anyway, i like the anime and manga.
Finished both a couple of times now.
What i do dislike is that the anime only has 26 epi's
The manga goes alot further and tells alot more

I've seen a couple of episodes, haven't read the manga before. But in my own personal opinion I think it's okay but It's just not my style so I can't say I like it.
