I'd not quite class that as 'yuri' in my knowledge of the word, but there's blatant references there.

How about HEN, or Rose of Versailles? Card Captor Sakura has plenty of shoujo-ai references too.

Well, there's Maria-sama ga Miteru, Strawberry Panic!, and the Mai series (Mai-HiME and Mai-Otome). The mai series is mainly yuri flavoring though. But the other two are much more shoujo-ai oriented.

Personally, I enjoyed The Mai series. I haven't had time to check out the others yet. but I will . Give it time...

Yuri is one of the things that is kind of taboo in Japan, then again so is hentai, Yaoi ...etc.....

even though there are a lot of fan doujins and the like H and non-H depicting Yuri, i don't think it will ever be that big in proper animes whilst you may find some small parts of a series such as negima for example (Konoka x Setsuna) i don't think that there will be many series that has a major focus on Yuri, infact since watching anime the most focused i have seen is azumanga's Kaorin x Sakaki
