Self-Study: Dreams
This is a self-study about one of the most sleepy aspects of life: Dreams. It may also be related to the other three topics I made for Self-Study. Also, some points that are pondered may direct you to some of Love Hina's aspects and story. I highly respect Akamatsu for helping me a lot in this Self-Study. Dreams. It is what we see when we sleep. It is also what we want to achieve or get. But what really are Dreams, anyway? Dreams can sometimes be related with Time. Dreams can sometimes be made in the Past, as well as the Present and the Future. Past Dreams are sometimes already fulfilled, and sometimes still being fulfilled in the Present. Present Dreams are the ones that are newly made, and will be fulfilled in the Future. Future Dreams, however, can still be changed if they are to be made or not. What is a certain Dream of a certain person? Fame? Fortune? Money? Love? It depends, right? Right. It depends in two ways. First, it depends in the likes and dislikes of a certain person. Secondly, it depends in the current stature of that person in life. Given these, a person can make Dreams according to his understanding of his surroundings and his own nature. Dreams also link themselves to Promises. Dreams are sometimes made because of a certain Promise. A perfect example: A guy who wants to enter a prestigious university just to be with his beloved, whom he made a Promise. The Promise? That they would go together in that university and live happily ever after. Nice to hear, eh? But not all Promises are meant to be fulfilled. Sadly, some are fated to be broken. But with this, a person can still make a Dream out of it. Dreams also stick themselves to Memories. Of course, some Memories may be good, some bad. But either side, a Dream can be made from them. Can Dreams be fulfilled? Not all, really. The deciding hand goes to the one who made it. He/she can either work hard for it, or leave it hanging in the records of Time. Time also has its effects on Dreams. Dreams can be forgotten with the Past, if one would not do something about it. Dreams would never be fulfilled in the Present of the Future if one ceases to do something about it. Without important Memories, Dreams may stop to a halt, since they may have no more reason to be fulfilled. Same goes for Promises attached to Dreams. Another interesting question: Can your Dream be achieved by others? Yes, it can. Remember that Time keeps her records in check. And, if given personification, would delight to see Dreams made and fulfilled, sometimes not by the ones who made it, but by others who made the very same Dream. And so we can say that Dreams continue to exist so that they would be fulfilled if not by the ones who made it, then by others who also made it. With this fact, we can say that Dreams are infinite, since they get to be fulfilled over and over. Ahhh... Dreams... Elusive, yet clear. Easy to achieve, yet sometimes hard to get. Concluding this, I can say Dreams are wonderful things we would want to see fulfilled either by ourselves, or by others, who may have made the same ones as ours.

Self-Study: Memories
This is a self-study about one of the most remembered aspects of life: Memories. It may also be related to the other three topics I made for Self-Study. Also, some points that are pondered may direct you to some of Love Hina's aspects and story. I highly respect Akamatsu for helping me a lot in this Self-Study. Memories. They reside in the minds of the people who wish to remember them. It is linked to many aspects of live that it became essential to remember and make memories. But how are they related to the order of the Earth? What are memories, anyway? Memories link themselves to a lot of things. One of them is Time. Of course, Time keeps memories permanently in the Past. It keeps some of the memories in the Present, too. But in the Future, Time keeps the memories in probation, since they can still be changed according to what one does in the Past or the Present. Memory lanes also cross over the paths of Dreams. Dreams can sometimes be made from Memories. And Memories, on the other hand, can be made with Dreams. The harmony they create can also be mirrored to the link Memories have with Promises. Promises sometimes come from Memories, and Memories are also made when we try to fulfill our Promises. Unlike Time, Memory has two sides of a coin: Bad and Good. But either side, one thing is sure. Whatever you do with the aspects that surround it, random pieces of good or bad Memories shall affect them and will just bring around you either encouragement or discouragent. It can also bring around fear and doubt, as well as bravery and strength, once a certain Memory is remembered. In short, Memories also affect a major aspect in life: Emotions. Is Memory repetitive? Yes, though you may say that Memory can also be easily forgotten. Sometimes, you may think that your most memorable moment cannot be copied or duplicated. Sadly, Time knows it is not. To cut it all short, Memory has Duplicity. Memories can be played over and over, through different minds, different places, different times. It also has the fact that it can be played not just by the ones who wish to remember it, but also by the ones who hate to remember it. Again, it reflected that Memories have two sides of a coin in handy, leaving us the fact that Memories also create Memories be it good or bad. Can Memories be a part of a whole? I mean, can Memories of certain persons combine themselves to form another Memory that is more powerful and memorable than ordinary cliches? Answer to the first question: Yes. Memories can be independent, meaning they can be remembered even while alone. But what if a group of people remembers a certain chain of events? A probable result may be a nice party to remember it all, thus making more new Memories for them to ponder. Another interesting question: Is Memory erasure and retrieval possible in the near Future? Oi, oi! Gimme a break! Everybody knows it can be possible by a few years of so, not the usual 100 years onward thingie some scientists babble about. Actually, Memory retrieval is already at hand by now. Although having poor or unsure results, some methods are already being tried for Memory retrieval. To sum some up, this goes for those who have amnesia or have undergone Memory erasure and want thier Memory back(this goes in the near Future, that is). But well, are there any concrete results yet? Accidental results, maybe. Some say those who have whonked their heads and have forgotten that whonked their heads again regained Memory after the head crash. Some claims also said that being struck by lightning or electricity revives inactive neurons containing Memories, though this is not yet tested for medical use yet, and results are yet to be proven. Memory erasure is another thing. They differentiate this to Amnesia, that Amnesia is complete loss of Memory while Memory erasure lets you pick Memories you want to erase. Quite convenient, eh? That is unless you want something erased in your head. What methods can be used? Electrocution of neurons? Disconnection of brain signals from the brain to certain Memory hotspots? If you want this, you better just whonk your head somewhere, you crazy bum. You'll forget easily that way. Affordable, too(hehe)! And so we conclude this Self-Study with the solidity of the fact that Memories are hard things to waste, yet easy things to forget. And in that way, it's like throwing them away. I give to you the will to decide, since your Memories are not mine to decide on. Forget or remember. Just a reminder: Choose carefully, because it's your memory we're talking about. ---------------------- BTW, you can also leave your comments on my work here. Arigato for reading...
