The Animeb Omnibus

...: the usual response given by Ryouba to any situation whatsoever. During longer periods of shoutbox silence, Ryouba attempts to use it in intervals of at least of 5 minutes.

.Sero//Selo: also, .Selo//Sero. A nickname given to the Admin Selo by Ryouba, based on the two readings of his old username, his current username, and the .hack series.

Animeb Katrina: see "Great Crash, The"

Animeb Twilight Zone Episode, The: An event in mid-June '07 caused by a glitch in server transition. It caused the creation of two animebs simultaneously, one on the old server and one on the new server. Some members trapped on the old server, and others were able to access the new sever with no way to bring members to said the new server. While members attempted to find a way to bring users onto the new server and attempted to exist in both at the same time (such as Ryouba and Z741), it took great amounts of Style codework to fix the problem. An ironic twist to that incident involved the user Ryouba, one of the first to reach the new server, accidentally getting trapped on the old server while attempting to "bridge the gap". It is said that he and Style were the last ones on the old server before it disappeared into the depths of the internet. On a side note, it is also rumored that he destroyed the old server's now-unneeded landscape as they were already copied over to the new server.

A.N.U.S. (Aniki Name Unstability Syndrome): also known as "aniki syndrome" and "aniki disease", a mysterious condition which causes animeb users to change their name suddenly and without warning. No cure has been found, but the source has been traced to the user "NegimaAniki"

Balmung: commonly known as " Bal' " a user of Animeb who occasionally changes his username in response to his emotional state. His own variation of A.N.U.S. unique to himself. Bal is the pactio partner of Chao (Magister), and he claims to be the resident lawyer and Negotiator of Animeb. Due to the emotional status of his names, each name should be regarded as a separate identity which includes.

• Archer: Wise Guy Bal - Known for his frequent attacks on the SB including Unlimited Blade Works
• Dark Schneider: Chaotic Evil Bal' (with Nuetral Tendencies) - Known immensely for his reign of evil and Godly powers, which drove many members insane. This incarnation of Bal' went so far as to bend Aniki's own A.N.U.S. trend against him, making him use named of female/hated characters such as Mai Shuranai, Shuichi's Lover, Shinn Asuka, and Flay Allster. Feared for his willingness to do anything to win, should be approached with caution.
• Haseo: Violent/Emo Bal' - Assumed during Bal's time playing and watching the G.U. series of .Hack//, known to constantly lash out at other users.
• Nekki Basara: J-Rocker Bal'/Macross 7 Bal' - Known especially for his constant playing of music and lyrics on the SB, Nekki usually screams out "LISTEN TO MY SONG" in warning of the approaching lyrical madness.
• Tweedledum: ??? - Tweedledum to Chao's Tweedledee
• Beyond the Grave: Silent Bal - Inspired by the game, Bal' went through a few weeks as the Undead Gunman 'Beyond the Grave' much to the happiness of other members for his characters silence. This however didn't stop Bal' from putting a bullet in other members heads for poking fun at him.
• Adell: Battle Maniac Bal' - Known for his frequent Battle mania on the SB
• Gene Starwind: Wise-Guy Bal' - Paid by Nagi, Bal' assumed the identity of the Outlaw Star character Gene Starwind and was known to be 'very' trigger-happy.
• Roger Smith: Negotiator Bal' - Known for his defense of one member's destruction of the animeb Cliff.
• Hiko Seijuro: Harsh Master - Known to frequently bully Junichi and Bal's response to Aniki's assumption of the Kenshin Himura name.
• Kenshiro: Stoic/Sorrowful Bal' - Master of Hokuto Shin Ken, this name was frequented with the implosion of many members heads and a number of victories in the Roleplaying Section by Bal'.
• Domon Kasshu: Ori's student/Gundam mode Bal' - Along with Ori (whom changed his name to Master Asia) the two were well known for quite frequently fighting in the SB, so far as destroying most of the surrounding animeb area. They are well known for calling out their chant at random intervals in the SB:

• Sol Badguy: Disgruntled Bal' - Very disgruntled, always beating the crap out of someone
• Takahata: Gentleman Bal' - Always kind to everyone, quick to punish those whom would harm his 'students'
• Maverick: Macross/High-Speed Bal' - Taken when Bal had finally decided on his fighting style mech wise, proven to be pretty much the fastest pilot in the Mecha Brigade.

Bananahammer, The: Hinarei's personal customization of the cliche mallet weapon, used to correct randomness he doesn't approve of i.e. desutards.

BC: See "Bobcat"

BobCat:
-One of the four admins of Animeb. Is currently undergoing heavy criticism due to certain events in the SFF. Claims to be a bobcat IRL.
-The ruler of the H.K.S.S and mega-poster. He has a mysterious past and all that is known of him is that he is in the form of a bobcat.... (credit NegimaAniki)

'Box, the: see "Shoutbox"

Chao: also called "Chaorin" and "Chao-tic", she is one of two current (blue) gmods, is believed to live in the Phillipines IRL. She is adept at interrogation, persuasion, and maintaining a small (very, very small) amount of control over shoutbox randomness. She is Balmung's pactio partner (ministra), and her pactio artifact, recently revealed, is a pair of metal rings an arm's length in diameter which the ability to compress air and either use fire it as an offensive attack at the enemy or be used to create a barrier around the user.

  -She is very lucky at minesweeper, some sources say she has a cheating device for it. (Sero)
  

Cliche oversized harisen, The: An oversized harisen loosely based on the one used by Fushigi Yuugi character Tasuki, is used by Ryouba to "correct" overly-perverted and/or overy-stupid people in the shoutbox. It possesses the power to create flames, but Ryouba rarely exercises that ability.

Dark Eva: common name for the user "Dark Evangel"

Declarition of Oripendence, The: A declaration of Ori's randomness. The Declaration includes (but is not limited to) the following:

We the people of the United States of Amorica, in order to form a more perfect random union, hold these truths to be self-evident.

First, the number of citizens must always equal OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAND!!!

Second, Geraldo Rivera is to be the Chief of Staff in the Orihouse And he will regulate the amount of facial hair each citizen is required to have.

In the third, that hina[rei] will be appointed head barrister of the double-entendre regime.

Emiyamato: a nickname bestowed onto NegimaAniki by Ryouba, in refrence to two of his earliest usernames.

End of the World: A spell from Negima! often used by Dark Evangel as shoutbox pushishment via RP. Was once apart of Ori's Weakness List.

EotW: See "End of the World"

EVA Squad, The: For a short period of time in late '06 early '07 when there were three members with Evangeline-themed names: Hikari Evangeline (currently Dizzy), Evangeline Shinso (currently Ilyasviel AK Shinso-Chan) and Dark Evangel (currently... Dark Evangel). These three Evas, in three different colors because of their ranks, plagued Animeb with armies of Chachamarus and Chachazeros, along with the constant threat of bloodsucking (this Dictonary's primary author, for example, gained the habit of "spiking" his own blood with garlic extract). It was Ryouba who first compared this horror to the EVA units of Shin Seiki Evangelion, though it is currently unknown which Eva corresponded to which EVA... though, it is often theorized that Dark Evangel was Unit-01 The Eva squad was disbanded after then Hikari Evangeline changed her name to Tsukamoto Yakumo.

GCN: an alternate name given to the user Ori Misaki before the great crash by user Ryouba, its origin stems from the brief period when Ori changed his name to "Orca", after the .hack character, and an argument involving whether orcas were whales or dolphins. After it was proved that orcas were, in fact, dolphins, Ryouba related it to "project dolphin", the early project name used for the GameCube system created by Nintendo, which was normally shortened "GCN". Henseforth, Ryouba refered to Ori as "GCN".

Great Crash, The: Also known as "Animeb Katrina" and "The Rollback", it was a major system crash that occured in late Febuary, causing the loss of all data that existed after the middle of the prior year's December.

Grey Fox: Currently known as "Shin Azure", he is the Green mod and leader of the Metal Gear Brigade, Grey Fox is the resident MGS and Star Wars nerd. A fluent speaker of the Mandalorian language "Mando’a", he seems to have the ability to create plot holes at will, usually for the purpose of entering and exiting the shoutbox.

Her Kawaiiness Secret Service: Dedicated to protecting Shinobu Maehara from spammers and perverts. [Leader: BobCat] (more detailed definition required)

HKSS, the: See "Her Kawaiiness Secret service)

Hentairei: Commonly used nickname for the admin "Hinarei".

Hey *name*: the most commonly used greeting in the shoutbox.

Hinarei:
-One of the four Admins of Animeb. Seems to have an unlimited supply of bananas, and wields the somewhat-mighty Bananahammer.
-A user with the odd habit of always logging out just before Final Bullet tries to get him to do something. Junichi Kanzaki believes that it may be an instinctual reaction.
-The 'nana-Suu-hentai lover. Probably the most seen around the Shout Box of the admins. He can usually be found glomping others or enjoying a 'nana. Is known to create havoc in the Shout Box when paired up with Selo. (Credit negimaaniki)
-A user who always says things with double meanings, usually perverted stuff (Sero)


IC: A classic short response to anything of topical value. Also a hopeful topic closer by the user. One of the many weaknesses of Ori, but only when said by ShinigamiDuo or the same user using a different username. (Credit Duo)

Knights of the Round: Much like Dark Evangel's End of the World spell, FinalBullet has his own style of devastating overpowered attack based on the overpowered final boss killing spell from Final Fantasy 7, that he frequently and mercilessly unleashes upon the denizens of AnimeB... usually Ori. (Credit FinalBullet)

KotR: See "Knights of the Round"

Koskei Ueki: Commonly known as "Yamo", "Enma" and "Diz", is a white mod believed to live somewhere in Southeast Asia, credited as being one of the top 3 Ori killers before the Great Crash. Wants to open a bookstore sometime in the future. Her other names include:

NDS: short for "Nintendo Dual Screen", a nickname Ori Misaki intended to apply to Balmung to compliment his own "GCN" nickname, making reference to Balmung's temporary name "Dark Schneider". Never caught on.

NBB, the: See "Nosebleed Brigade, The"

"New blood" Initiation, the: Dark Evangel's traditional way of welcoming new members, she declares them as "new blood", thus marking them for her blood-drinking excursions. Unfortunately, she has an odd habit of doing this to even to people she knows from other places. Whom she may or may not have already taken a bite out of. Too quote from Gaia:

Ninja:
- A person who runs around, appearing in puffs of smoke, and practices their shuriken skills (usually on kittens or puppies). Ex: Hanku Royiaki (Credit Z741)
- A person who claims to be a ninja even though they make use of very little, if any, stealth techniques and often wear extremely brightly colored clothing. A source of headache for non-ninjas and "real ninjas". Ex. Naruto
