My first FanArt!
I just spent 3 hours in GIMP inking and colouring a sketch of Naru from the cover of Love Hina volume 1. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Nicely done. The skin texture is VERY well done. The color is right on the money as well. However, to be honest, the eyes could use a little work, yet for a first try this really good.
I give it 4 Naru Punches (POW POW POW POW!!) out of 5

i agree with mr ninja,and the mouth is a tiny bit uneven on the left,but its still amazing

the eyes make the picture, Molon, so you do, I agree, need to spend more time on those.
It's a shame it's Naru, rilly, for your first try >< Ah well, can't have it all, I suppose

Yeah, I was never happy with the eyes, but it was 11pm and I was so tired that I was making more mistakes than I was correcting them, so I'll be redoing the eyes and probably the mouth today at some point.

WOW. Have you been practising with KP pictures on Deviantart, man? I never knew you could draw this well!
For starters, this is pretty fantastic. Good details, good shadowing, good texturing. 4 out of 5.

Yeah, I've been inking other peoples sketches for just over a week now (starting with Joeman's) and this is my most recent one, I'm about to start another one now though. Just got to decide which to do.
