You're supposed to find all the girls lost or trapped in Library Island. You start with Negi, then later on you can use other girls like Asuna. Fight monsters with cards and save them all!

Cool. How do the cards work? Can I run from the random battles? I don't feel like fighting rats, bats, and stuff like that all the time. In pokemon you can run from random battles but not trainer battles.

Yes, they're random battles everywhere. If you choose to run from them, theres always a chance you fail and the monsters get a go at you. The cards have a AP(attack point) value and DP(defense point) value. Choose a card to use to attack, then the defender will choose a card to defend with. If the attacker's AP is more than the defender's DP, the attack is successful. If not, the attack fails. Of course, there are cards with special effects, like Guard Break. There are also cards specifically for a certain character, like Negi or Asuna. If you use a card with high enough attack power, you might just get a special animation from the character using it. ^^

Err. THe game doesnt work.Can this work on VisualBoy Advance? That the only GBA emulator that i can use.

Hmmm... I tried it on Visualboy Advanced and it worked perfectly.

It should run just fine on that emulator. Did you check if it's the latest version?

I'm so tempted to play it in japanese anyway though XD
