RE: V-Day Special
Lost during the roll back. All credit goes to Zero, now Nanatsu Yoru, and little bit to me. Enjoy.
================================================== ================================================== =============================================== A/N: Would like to thank Mr.Anderson for helping me with this story. Thank you once again my friend. Valentines Day Special: The Unspoken Confession “Love can be a harse thing, especially to those with a fragile find or a fragile body. But when the love between to people who truly love each other is made, they can go through anything, as long as they are together.” From the Heart and Mind of, Zero Eiyuu February 13th…Valentines Day Eve… It was a nice warm day in Japan, the sun shined brightly, there were hardly any clouds in the clear blue sky, and it was the day before Valentines Day. Love was truly in the air today even though it wasn’t the said day. But it wasn’t odd for lovers to show their affection and love towards one and other, this was just one of those day to prepare for any big plans they would soon have. Many people, men and woman, scattered all over the markets on this day purchasing many goodies and toys for their loved ones. The stock was quickly becoming close to none. Even our dear Shinobu Maehara was out with her friends from school, buying ingredients to make chocolates and of course ingredients to cook dinner. Although back at her home, Hinata Sou, others had other plans for the day and even for the next few days. Motoko was one of them, traioning as she usually did on the balcony slicing away at those helpless cherry blossoms as they fell gracefully to the ground. Poor cherry blossoms… Whoosh! “997…(pant…pant)” Motoko sliced the falling cherry blossom perfectly in half just as she did the to others. She closed her eyes and concentrated. The look on her face was so calm yet fierce as she waited. With her eyes still tightly shut, she tightly grasped her sword and sliced three more cherry blossoms in half. “1000.” She smiled and whipped away the sweat from her forehead. She’s been at that for a while today. It inevitable that she would strain herself like this. She’s always been training so very hard. “…Time for a little break. I think I’ve earned one.” She slowly sheathed her sword and made her way back inside. Wasn’t much for her to do most days but train and study, very disciplined as always, that’s Motoko for you. Three other residents were doing other things as well in the safety and privacy of Keitaro’s room. Mutsumi, Naru, and of course Keitaro were all busy with their work in his room. These 3 were truly like the 3 musketeers, always together side by side but they would occasionally anger one and other and separate for a while. However Naru still didn’t like how close Mutsumi and Keitaro were becoming. But she came to the conclusion that Mutsumi was just trying to be good friends…even with her. Kitsune was out that day working with Haruka for some extra spending cash. She needed to work since her usual plans to trick Keitaro out of his money have recently failed miserably. It seemed every time she tried or even just planed on taking his money, something would stop her in such strange ways. Unknown to her though this was actually the handy work of Su. She was secretly protecting Keitaro at the request of Shinobu. This gave her a chance to test out several of her new gadgets she was going to test on Keitaro anyway; this time she just had a valid reason. Although she had another reason to do so, reasons that would be unusual even for Su. Speaking of Su. In Su’s room she’s been busy working hard on a very complicated and intellectual project that was too complicated for normal people. “…Boring…” Su was laying on a tall tree branch lazily with a laptop on her lap. “Oh well, time to visit some forums!” Opening her laptop she opened up her internet and typed in one of her favourite sites to visit. “Animeb, here we go. I visited today already but let’s see what’s going on.” She logged onto her account called ‘Su” and went looked at the homepage. “…54 new profile comments…234 new private messages…and 1 new post…what the? Only one new post? How boring.” After she spent a little time replying to all the pm’s she received and looked around the forum, she closed her window and lay back down. “…Oh yeah, I really should get back to my little project. Must not get lazy now.” She clicked on her documents and scrolled down the many folders she had. She went passed some strange folders too…but stopped and clicked on the folder called ‘Keitaro Experiments.’ In her little folder there were a list of everything that Su had ever tested on Keitaro. They were all divided into three different categories; In progress, Successful, Failure. There were a lot in the failure as most would know. A…lot… “Ah, here we go. Project ‘Eternity’” She clicked on the folder which opened up several other neatly organized folders. She went straight to one application that was named ‘Live’. It opened up a small screen that was currently showing Naru and Mutsumi writing in their books. The view was from Keitaro’s point of view. Su was somehow able to implant a small cybernetic device within Keitaro in an epic quest…but that’s another story. “Well…it seems that everything going all right. No increased stress. No rise in blood level. No clue where Tama-chan is. No injuries that need attention. Threat level is down at 1. Everything’s in order.” After letting out a sigh she was about to close her laptop shut, but something caught her eye. Keitaro looked down at the equation he was working on. But he wasn’t exactly solving it. Near the top of the page he was finishing up a picture he drew. It was what he drew that got her heart pumping. It was him, embracing Su warmly both with smiles on their faces. “Keitaro, what are you doing there? It doesn’t look like work.” Naru snapped at Keitaro with an irritated and annoyed tone of voice. That made him quickly close his notebook immediately. He blushed a little. “W-what?! I-it’s nothing! Just a little sketch I was doing!” “Hmm…” Naru gave him a long hard stare. She knew exactly what Keitaro was drawing but just ignored it…for now. “Whatever.” And went back to her studies. “Ara, ara. You two be nice now.” Mutsumi said playfully, pointing at both of them with her pencil. Su turned off her live feed window and stared at her background. It was a picture of herself hugging Keitaro in a loving embrace the day that Keitaro brought her to the amusement park for fun. ‘Don’t you get it?’ Su’s deepest consciousness said to her, people would know that other part of her to be her adult form in the crimson red moon. “Get what?” Su said seeming to stare off into space. But she was actually staring at a hanging banana. ‘…Can’t you see what’s before your eyes?’ “…I still don’t understand…” ‘Keitaro, he loves you. I thought you’d see this.’ “A-are you sure about that?” ‘Definetly, but then again I saw this coming a mile away.’ Her thoughts paused for a moment. ‘Couldn’t you notice the signs?’ Su wondered what exactly she was talking about. But soon she came to an realisation. “Come to mention it, he has been acting strange around me. He turns red every time I seem to go near him and such, and he gets nervous as usual.” Su scratched the back of her head. “Not to mention he willingly volunteers for my experiments now.” ‘Well there you go. If that’s not a sign that he loves you then I’m just blind.’ “…But…why though. Why me?” Su brought her knees to her chin. “I mean, I always liked him. But…this is…well…” ‘Surprising? Shocking? Unwanted? Unexpected?’ “Relieving…” ‘Oh? How so?’ “…” Su stayed silent, and so did her mind…for a while at least. “I…I just don’t know…” ‘Su…you just have to be honest with yourself. You have to be true to your feelings. There is only one question that you must ask yourself that you must answer honestly too.’ “…And that is?” ‘…Do you love him?’ “!?!?” She was just shocked and surprised at the question. ‘You have to ask yourself…do you love him?’ “…I…I.” Su looked down onto her lap and searched for the answer in her mind and heart. “I’ve always had a liking for him…sometimes I even felt like he was more than just my friend. He looks like my brother and I love him very much. Keitaro has always been nice to me and I just feel so energetic when I’m with him.” She went silent. ‘…What is your answer?’ “…I do…I really do.” ‘You what…?’ “I love him, I love Keitaro.” Back with Naru, Mutsumi, and Keitaro, Naru was still a little irritated with Keitaro and the stress was really interfering with her studies. So she decided to go back to her room and get some privacy, leaving Keitaro and Mutsumi alone. But Keitaro felt a little bad and just didn’t feel like studying anymore, and so did Mutsumi. A whole chain was going on there. “Mutsumi, what do you want to do now?” Keitaro asked Mutsumi who was sitting across from him on the table. “I don’t know…” she rested her head on the table with her arms cross under her chin. “Do you have any plans for Valentines Day Kei-kun?” “W-what?” “Va-len-tines Day. Are you doing anything on that day?” She said this again moving her face closer to him. “Oh umm, err, uhh!” He blushed a great red and leaned back. “Well…I actually do.” “Oh what is it?” She asked with great interest. She shuffled beside him closely. “I-I don’t know If I can tell you. It’s a big secret…” “Ara? You can’t trust me Kei-kun? I thought we were friends?” She asked a bit hurt. “W-well…I’ll tell you. IF you promise not to tell anyone, okay?” “Okay.” “You swear?” “I pinky swear!” And she held out her pinky to him. “All right then.” Keitaro shook his pinky with hers. “Come closer, I really don’t want anyone to hear this yet.” Thus Keitaro started to whisper something into her ear. The look of sheer surprise and delight came across her face when he was done. “Oh my!” “Remember your promise okay?” “Don’t worry…your secrets safe with me.” February 14th…Valentines Day… At the crack of dawn Keitaro had woken up and was actually the only one awake at the time. He had to prepare some things for today. He put away his futon and slided his door open, peeking out to make sure that no one was out there. “Good, the coast is clear.” Keitaro looked back in his room at a small rectangular box on his desk. He walked over and grabbed it. ‘I wonder how she’s going to react…’ The thought of the worst case scenario had crossed his mind. He shook those thoughts off. “It doesn’t matter. All that I want is to do this.” He went and walked out his room again, but he suddenly bumped into someone and dropped his box. “S-sorry sempai.” Keitaro looked down at Shinobu, his eyes shrunk at the sight of her, it was a big surprise. ‘How come I couldn’t hear her coming?’ “It’s okay Shinobu-chan, really.” His eyes went down to a heart shaped wrapped up object in her hands. It was the size of her head, pink, and had a red bow typed in a X on it. Shinobu blushed and closed her eyes. “HERE! PLEASE ACCEPT MY HONMEI-CHOCO!” She yelled as she pushed the heart shaped object towards Keitaro. “Ah! Shinobu-“ “I HAVE TO GO!!!” The second that Keitaro grabbed the object Shinobu turned and was about to run, but Keitaro grabbed her arm. “Wait!” Keitaro said softly. Shinobu stood still and hung her head down just enough for her hair to cover her eyes. They were both silent…Keitaro could swear he saw a single tear drop from her face. “Shinobu…?” “…I hope…I hope you have a great Valentines Day sempai…” Keitaro loosened his grip on Shinobu. “Sempai…I just wanted to let you know…that I love you…” Shinobu ran up to Keitaro, flung her arms around him and kissed him. ‘S-Shinobu!’ Said in his head. Keitaro was truly in shock. Shinobu broke the kiss and stood there silently looking down. “I-I’m sorry.” Shinobu whipped away the tears and ran off, out of his sight to leave him alone. “…” He looked down and picked up his box, dusting it off. ‘Just what have I gotten myself into…and why was Shinobu acting like that…? Did…did Mutsumi tell her. No…I trust Mutsumi, she wouldn’t…she just wouldn’t…would she?’ He walked down the hallway to think. “I can’t get distracted…” Keitaro stood outside of Su’s room nervously. Knock Knock Knock No answer. Knock Knock Knock “Su-chan, It’s me Keitaro.” Still no answer though. ‘I know I shouldn’t do this but…’ Keitaro slided open her door and peeked inside, she wasn’t in sight at the moment. ‘Maybe I can surprise her and put this beside her as she’s sleeping.’ He walked inside, but suddenly the door closed behind him. ‘What the?! Oh ya, I almost forgot, Su installed those a few weeks ago. That startled me.’ But just then something landed on his head! “MYUH!!!” “WAHHH!” Keitaro screamed out loudly. “Myuh?” “Oh…thank goodness it’s only you Tama-chan.” Keitaro sighed and calmed down. He let Tama-chan stay up there for now. Walking around, making sure not to accidentally slam into one of the trees, but he did occasionally. “Now where is her bed again…” Keitaro slowly ventured further in Su's room even evading the pond. 'Hmm I think it should be close now..' As he came closer to Su's bed. Unaware that he is being watched, or rather that someone's watching whith him. "You forgot where I sleep, Keitaro?" A young female voice said softly. And Keitaro changed direction to go where the voice came from to see Kaolla in her bed with her laptop on her lap. As Keitaro came into view Kaolla closed the laptop, putting it aside. "There you are Su-chan, I was hoping that you'd still be asleep." "And why is that Keitaro?" Kaolla said with an obvious blush even to Keitaro. Now realizing what he said Keitaro stumbled upon his own words, blushing. "Well.. I.. no I didn't mean it like that.. you see." "I know." She replied still blushing a bit, grabbing hold of something behind her back. Keitaro didn't notice and walked up to Kaolla tripping over or hitting the only three trees remaining. This caused a chuckle from Kaolla before he said down next to her. "Su-chan... I.. I have this for you." He finally said, preparing for what ever may come as he gave her the box. "Keitaro.." She blushingly accepted the gift and opened it, her eyes sparkled at what was inside. It was a heart shaped white gold heart. A fine necklace chain was connected to the top of it, it was truly a beautiful looking necklace. “Wow…it’s so shiny…” Su paused and presented Keitaro with a box of the same size of her own to him. “Actually…I got you something too.” “Su-chan…” Keitaro whispered as he opened his present. Honestly he didn’t expect much from her being so young and all, and he didn’t exactly expect to get a gift from her. But when he saw what was in the box…his heart just melted. It was a small gold heart shaped locket with a picture of Su and Keitaro in it. First a bit startled by this he then put his arms around Kaolla and she did the same, while they smiled at each other. Holding, like they never wanted to let go. The End Zero Eiyuu: Could it be possible that this was the wrong thing to do? Could this love actually be wrong? All we know is that they love other and we must just accept that fact and be happy for them. Who are we to judge who should and shouldn’t be in love anyway? We must just let them be together in this moment. And so…let us leave these destined lovers alone so they may be together in this moment of bliss in peace.

that's kinda what I was aiming for, Mr A
Glad it went down well I have a rather nice black and white copy of this too ![]() Keitaro Maehara? O_o Shinobu has the better name? Reckon that'd happen? ![]() I simply adored this story It's very tidily written, and to answer Zero's (rhetorical?) question at the end... the only reason this could be considered wrong is that I'm not in Keitaro's place in the story ^^ |

I dunno.. You want to face a Naru Punch (TM) head on? (literally)
Because Keitarou faced quite some. And then there are Motoko's skills.... I'd hate to go looking for a new ASR leader.
