Double post problems
me and other memebers are having werid problems were we will post once but it will double or triple post style you know whats going on?

yeah, it would say that we posted 40 seconds before, [when we haven't] and take us to the advanced edit page.
if you noticed this the first time tho, you would realize that it DID post the first time, if you used the quick post. you dont need to post it again if it takes you to the advance edit page.

Apparently the same thing has been happening to everyone. For those of us without the time limiter, it just double posts, which is annoying as well.

Hmm it just happened for me, it was weird. I clicked on Post Quick Reply, and it took a while to process. then it took me to a page that said "You have posted the same message twice in the lapse of 5 minutes" and then just a proceed button. And it didnt double post (I do have that dumb 'wait 40 seconds before posting again' thing restriction too)

I don't have this restriction, and it always seems to slow down whenever I post... Took me a while to realise this was because it was trying to post again
 I'd noticed this thread before, of course, but now it's started happening pretty much every time ><Anyone found out anything to point to why this could be happening? edit: and, annoyingly/helpfully it decided not to do it this time  Last edited by hinarei; 10 Jun 2008 at 8:52 am. Reason: bleh xD

Never had this happen to me! I always post quick reply though. Once or twice I've gotten the 'don't post twice in a row! :@ wait 40 seconds!' warning, but no actual double postings.
