Ok this system is really pissing me off now. How teh F*CK do I upload my sig the original size? I have never met a forum system that could piss me off so much jsut by not letting me get the right sig on. I mean other forums ahve never pissed me off with their sig system but why this one!? Can somebody help me out here?

I dont understand what exactly is your question. The thing says that the maximum dimensions are 500 x 100 px, and that you can't upload images larger than 20 kbs.

I just uploaded an image as sig and it worked fine, it did upload, it didnt update my sig to use the image though, i think you're meant to do it manually via the [img] tag and etc.

I think he's on about the "upload image from your own computer" not being the actual size, which is because it's resized to meet standards for the rules, so in other words, he should stop complaining XP

first off, why upload it? Why not use a freely-available image hosting service like PhotoBucket or ImageShack?

If you must upload it, then the file will be set to use the image constraints set for signatures. As selo said, this is 500 by 100 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

You can then use the [sigpic][/sigpic] tags as text in your sig to display the picture properly

That's what I'm saying! I am posting from imageshack and the thing keeps saying it's too big, but it isn't even close.

If the image uploaded on imageshack, and met their requirements, and your using the correct code, then you should not be getting a "this image is too large" error message...

There ya go, its the last one they list when you upload a picture, course, don't use that one, I just picked a random image from my computer to use as an example. After that, just use [img](url here)[/img]. Just be sure its not overly huge.

Are you using the same web browser on both computers? It could be many factors, clearing your cache, your temp files..etc etc.

Well my dad has the newer version of internet explorer on his, while I'm still using the old version of it. I had it before but my comp was acting gay and it was deleted.

I'd suggest using Firefox, but its all up to you. Why not try it and see if your signature works out fine.

Actually my heart hasn't given in to firefox yet. I tested it out and didn't work much different from internet explorer. It just took longer to open up but it would lag up every once in a while in the same places my internet explorer did.

The browser should have nothing to do with it, though. Not if it's just an [img] link.

it was probably just the computer being slow and not connecting quite well, anyways, this has been solved
