New ShoutBox~!
Hello all~! In case you haven't noticed... We has a new 'Box.
Spiffy, innit? I'd been pushing for this ever since I saw it (a month ago?)... Finally, there's been success. MUCH thanks to Style-sama for installing this tonight... And a big thanks to FB for finding it and bringing it to my attention! (Via G-Sanc.net) So, it looks nice... What can you do? Well, take a look:  This is the look of the new box... Not much changed... There's an "Active User" count now... (When users navigate from the page or go idle, they get removed from the list). The Colors is also now upgraded... Whenever someone chooses a color, ALL posts previous and future in the box are changed to that color. Also... If you refresh the page, or navigate away, your color choice STAYS, so you don't have to reset it every time! And there's that shiny Options button...  Active User List. You click "Shoutbox" to get back to the main screen.  This is what the Options Button does. You can filter various things... (Turn BBCode off, turn actions "/me" off, and turn PMs off) But, of course, the most important part is the Ignore function. Best yet, it can be used much like IRC. In the actual box, just type: /ignore User All posts from that user then go away. And you see no new ones from them. You can undo by: /unignore User All posts from that user then appear again. Including the ones you missed when they were ignored. This is win. Again, there is a PM function... In which you can chat privately with just one person. If you click their name in the box, a new PM window in the box pops up. Type there to speak only to them. You can have multiple PMs running at the same time, and it'll even notify you of PMs in the main box. You can also edit and delete your own shouts if you double click the text~! There are still a few things that need to be fixed, like the Colors list, and the fact that Archives can't be viewed by normal people yet... Anyway, enjoy! Ooh yeah, I noticed it too, good addition. We have the samething over at AnimeYo, its much better than the older one. Good job style.

This box sucks major ass. It lacks soooo many friggin' colors, and changes very little. I for one didn't mind having to update my color each time we refreshed.
If you get the color white in this box, then it'll be fine, but silver is NOT good enough Damnit.

Recycle and Reuse~! It's environmentally friendly!  Anyway, I'll try to find us a fix for the colors, Nani... I'm sorry your precious White was overlooked. ...in the meantime... Try Pink? Or a different Font? =P

oooops...
i was doing something with options and suddenly it went weird http://www.animeb.com/forum/infernoshout.php it came up with the text from the SB on a white screen it comes up with what ever text is in the SB at the time... except that you can't do anything...

ah, the weirdness of the Box
thanks for this little rundown, Misaki! Welcome the new box, same as the old box So there's a few more options to get used to. PMs are pretty much redundant, but the ignore user is a nice addition.
