ATTENTION! Private Messages!
This is just a warning to everyone...
Considering I just realized it myself... If you plan on sending and/or receiving Private Messages, you probably MUST go clean out your Inbox/Outbox Folders! This is important! This forum now only allows for a maximum of 50 PMs... (I remembered there was something I hated here... XD) The old forum allowed for some REALLY high amount. (I had 200+ total...) So, if either you hardily had any PMs, or didnt frequently clean out your folders... Then chances are you cant get anything now. So please be warned. ^_^;;;

i think the unread are all the messages that you had in the past, i had 46 and i only started using PM's like 3 months ago.
BTW i got my Avatar to work, Yay!!

i dont see a point in keeping messages over 2 weeks old, but then maybe im not important enough to keep alot of messages.

I had over 400 messages. There's probably no point in keeping them all, but I like to keep track of stuff ^^ I guess I'm just a packrat or something
I needed these limits eased more than others may have done. Now all's I need is to get promoted again and I'll never ever need to delete messages ever again |

nuh-uh... read the first post and you'll find that 50 is the default set for all users. Kind of a strain when you have as many messages as some people.

We've gotta set up some good mail tolerance there. I can't delete any message since I keep important ones too.

well, you got 100 as a member. If and when you get your mod rights back, you got 200
enough to tide over, and generally by the time you reach your limit, you'll be able to clear out older stuff.There's no excuse other than sheer laziness that I kept all those messages. There's a handy little 'export all' feature on vB though, so its not like you have to lose your messages. Can always back 'em up |
