In Mandarin, we call them "HONG BAO".
Mandarin Oranges are kalled "KAM" which also means... I think it means money or treasure. Pineapples are called "ONG" and they mean prosperity I think. I'm Chinese and I don't know chinese... there's a name for people like us. Bananas... yellow on the outside, white on the inside.
