So for once in your lives, STOP CARING. Who cares if someone calls you a noob? Who cares if they "flame" you? It's text, it's the internet. There are many, many things that are worse.

And if you're actually hurt by any of the things that people here say by you, then **** YOU. Goddamn people have no spine these days. It's just words, get over yourselves! Grow some collective balls people. There are sites out there that are alot worse. There are sites out there where the staff isn't even on half the time, and when they ARE on, they make life a living hell for people.

Frankly, most of what you guys do here is just one big overreaction. So follow the advice from the big letters.

Does doing the opposite really count as having balls? Insulting people's pretty easy, and I think your way seems easier than the other side's.

Think of how much easier the people who think this way have it. Those disposed to the other side really don't have any other recourse than running, hiding, and responding, and when they do, it feeds into your own.

Honestly, it almost sounds like you all need to toughen up. If you, Nani?, really didn't take it seriously, why'd you make this thread? The fact that some people take the internet more seriously than you is obviously bothering you, and calls into question your previous statement of not caring.

It's obvious that people here are having problems with other people, but it's because they keep taking the statements made as these huge events. All I'm saying is that people need to take things lightly. It's the internet, you have better things to do than waste your energy fighting somebody.

And no Ori, doing the opposite of being offended/hurt by people's words does not count as having balls. It doesn't count as anything.

This isn't saying we should become a site full of EDiots. It's saying that we need to lighten up. There's enough problems and pain in this goddamn ball of **** that we call Earth without people adding their own little Drama into it. I have a personal philosophy, and it's that everything can be resolved with a civilized discussion. So if you have a problem with a person, you discuss is like human beings.

Oh my gosh, good one Ori. Man, I could not have done better myself. Ph, but reall, al this si anymore is a battlefeild for one thing or another. Its what people like Nani? want after all, even if they say get over it they really want to start something to have something to do.

That last thing's become a problem for both sides. Sure, some people on either side of the aisle are willing to talk, but for each one, there are two more willing to just pursue things like "internet justice". The problem is not that either side is worse than the other- the problem lies in the EXTREME ends of both sides.

I'm friends with people on both sides, and I do try to mediate. The problem comes when those friends bring themselves to the extreme ends of each spectrum and proceed to make my job all but impossible.

So yes, intelligent and civilized discussion is the best way to resolve issues. But remember that not everyone who cares some measure more than you do about what happens on the internet is extreme or vehemently anti-your group.

In fact, I'd like to try to resolve some of this all now, as a dialog between both sides. It's gone on far more than long enough.

Only if we can guarantee that both sides be given a fair shake in talks. We need moderates for this deal, not extreme members. I hope we can arrange something, or else this "war" will never end.

There was a time when such stark differences in 'net ideology didn't matter so much. I'm hoping we could come to some resolution in order to return things to that state.

Now, if we have this, we should exclusively focus on things at hand, since that's where most people are involved now. So no BobCat stuff.

I'm liking this idea, but it'll be hard to pick people who will be accepted by both sides.

MSN, most likely. That's probably the most widespread format.

As for selecting the members...well, I suppose we'd have to ask each side to select a sort of delegate; someone who represents their desires and ideals, without being unable or completely unwilling to compromise.

In times like this, we need to try rebuilding a bridge between the two groups. All this time people tried to simply oust the other or annoy them into leaving. I don't want any more of that, personally.

That sounds reasonable. I will come as an observer, since I am not considered neutral by at least one party, even though I am able to suspend my personal opinions when it comes to official matters.

So, for those of either party of whatever Drama is currently happening, please identify your most moderate member in advance.

For now, I hope you don't mind, but I'll be referring to the more serious side as "Group A" and the less serious side as "Group B". It's what I've been calling them since all of this started- makes operations go much more smoothly if you just recall which letter to use.
