Motion for SB in the SSF
Senseit seems that the SB can become quite glogged up when were talking baout series stuff, imove that we add an SB to the SSF

yeah, but seriousness tends to find its wayinto it. Its just easier to talk serious tuff there then itis to wait for posts. for example, the political and religious arguments that popped up into it. it was going on for halfan hour, or it seemed like it.
A having an SB in the SSF would sole that problem.

the only way to stop that from happeing is togit rid of everyone, ro the SB.
I think its easierto have an SB for the SSF

Sounds like a good idea to me. It's all very well saying 'serious chatter doesn't belong in the SB', but isn't that exactly what certain people used to say about the forum in general? The SSF was a success, I don't see why a SSB shouldn't be.
Besides, it's unlikely people will stop talking politics in the SB just because we ask them not to. It's one of the harder rules to enforce. Splitting the people talking rubbish and the people talking serious stuff might be an idea.

Unfortunately, can't be done. The shoutbox is set in the templates, so unless you want to completely change how vBulletin works, you'll be better off with MSN.
