Thread Prefixes
With the upgrade to vB version 3.7, we have a number of new features we can use.
One of these is thread prefixes. I can think of a couple of uses for these, but they're set up by admins, so if you have any suggestions yourselves, please chip in  We could set some up in Forum Help: how's Question, Resolved, Guide sound? Questions for when they're initially posted, Resolved once fixed, and Guide for any busybody who's put together an explanation for how things work (hina, Ryo, Momo...)? We could use 'em for extraneous LH Brigades... if there's a couple of Sara fan threads, and they're not big enough for a Brigade subforum, for example, a prefix could be set up for [SMB] - Sara McDogal Brigade We could put some in News too, for when we announce upgrades, mod promotions and other stuff. Whatcha thinking?

Kinda eliminates the whole point of reading the thread, doesn't it?
Still, I vote that all threads in the kingdom get the thread prefixes [EPIC] , [WIN] , and for those extreme cases, [BOBCAT]

How'd you arrive at that conclusion? Me, I'd want to know if the question I wanted to ask had been answered. If we lock a thread or re-prefix it once it's answered, then people who're looking for that information will know whether it's a continuing issue or not
Kingdom won't be getting any prefixes

I was hoping for constructive suggestions such as these...  Seriously, folks, if you have any proper suggestions, I'd like to hear them. Any more from FB and I'll ban him from the thread

initial testing seems promising
Doesn't change URL or pretty much anything, just displays a little piece of text next to the thread title The other nifty benefit is that prefixes appear in the search function

Those tag names in the thread titles make the title looser than a thirty year old whore, hinarei
. Now, I find nothing wrong with loose women in and of themselves.... but it just doesn't look right for a thread title on the subforum's main page.

There be a difference tags do make the thread display a little crowded though, I get your point

Well.... as I haven't seen anything about perfixes yet in the meantime.... carry on
 .And BTW.... [Fap], [Tissue], and [Pantsu] are perfectly acceptable as prefixes until we can come up with better .

prefixes have now been set up in the Forum Help forum. I've set a couple of them to show what happens, so a few guides are marked up now
If you go into Advanced Search, you'll get the option to search for posts that have been prefixed:  So this'll be shown in the Search results:
