Donations and supporting the board

Seeing as many cute name change options come in about 1000 points, its not really that far fetched.

Even if it was the case of $1 = 1000 points, and the person donating made 20 posts a month. Being able to give gifts would be few and far between. One would have to donate every month(at least Style would be happy ) to enjoy some of the other point driven festivities.

I still like the 'member services idea

we have vBplaza back and working now so I reckon this could be a workable idea, so long as we could tally donations in some way. Might be a donation tracker Style could build in, but I would have thought that for now, he'd just have to go by whatever he received on PayPal

Either which way, I'll donate 1,000 points per $1 USD (while I'm able to do so) that is donated.

It seems like a pretty good idea...

I mean, you get nothing when you donate, and no one even knows that you donate..

At least this way you get something for your physical contribution...
