Clean up the flamers and trolls!

Something needs to be done about the issue of trolls and flamers in this forum. I personally think things are going too far with people being flamed for no good reason. And there have been TONS of occasions where that's happened, and to people I care about, so I feel strongly about it.

Therefore I propose a clean-up of all those who do so [especially those who flame and get away with it every time].

I agree. There's been lots of spurious claims with no real solid proof other than the claims of certain individuals of questionable repute from other forums, and enough is enough. This is supposed to be a nice, happy forum, not a place for certain individuals to arrogantly decide to flame people who are trying to do their job of keeping the forum free of aggravation.

I think such behaviour is needlessly selfish and childish, and it'd be best to ensure such poison-pen topics are locked as soon as they are started. Fact is, Animeb is an anime forum, not "spammers and flamers anonymous". The rules explicitly state that no-one can spam or flame and they have to live with it. Causing needless chaos is completely unnecesary.

In fact, it is not dissimilar to the sensationalism going on in another forum about Animeb, and it is disgusting to see certain people to fall down to that level.

Exactly. People who flame and bully others just for their own amusement are just plain sick, so why do it? I say wipe out the flamers before they destroy the forum. What's a few sick bullies compared to a whole online community, and why keep those flamers here when it just upsets and disrupts the forum? >.> Use common sense, people. We need to get rid of them.

Such appropriate language, I'm baffled by your maturity. As far as I can see, some members just don't approve of other behaviours than their own, and when other people join and have fun in other ways than they find appropriate it's suddenly a huge problem. If this causes a riot or something, you brought it on yourself

So you think flamers should be allowed into the forum to wreck everything, Silas? And THAT's our fault, is it? That kind of stuff shouldn't be allowed in any decent forum, IMO. That kind of behaiviour [flaming and causing riots] is just plain crap.

You're behaviour also get's out of hand sometimes but I've never seen much of a deal made by it since it was you. Unlike Tyroki's constant infractions, you hardly if ever get any when you say something out of line. Okay, so you don't make it blunt like Ty does, but you have those moments too.

I agree with Naru on this topic. It's not our fault that flamers/trolls are allowed to getting out of line. We have no control over the matter. We say we want a fun, happy, loving forum, yet we allow this behaviour to go on because it's fun for some and sometimes hurtful and offensive to others.

Now I'm not saying we're not allowed to say whatever we want. It's our right to do so, but it's only to a certain extent. And if we allow them all to go on with their constant flaming then it only proves that we are letting them control the board.

It HAS calmed down a bit, but I still see flaming pop up from members that disagree with the rules and other members.

Please, why don't you show me posts that I should have recieved infractions for, I mean, I'll gladly infract myself if they are justified.

And one last thing, read what I write, not what you think I write...

If this (Your constant complaining and now this thread) causes a riot (making all those you talk of, actually flaming you because you flame them all the time) or something, you brought it on yourself (You just need to learn to accept other people and stop crying all the time because things aren't always the way you would like them to be)

I finally understood what is wrong with this forum. haven't you people noticed? Some want a thing, others want the opposite. Conclusion: half of the members aren't happy. It isn't the Staff that is doing a bad job: the thing is, the staff is hearing so much to people's opinions that opposite opinions want to be put at the same time and place. I can't work like that.

Chaotic? I agree that the RP spamming was wrong in every way, and I also went very hard on those who do it, however! I haven't seen any problems like you talk about all the time. Why all this "Don't tell me you haven't noticed" Why can't you just be frank and state, you more or less hate KC. Dark Evangel and KC has disputes, and that's about it if you ask me.

What ever happened to accepting each other, talking out things reasonably, not acting like everything is a matter of life and death. What happened to joy, spontanitey, having fun and enjoying each other instead of hating each other.. I'm not just talking to you, but also KC and the other PoC people here...
