I think she is the most misunderstood and underated character in the story, when i first got here i couldnt believe how so many people were against her and her love for her brother. I guess thats why i like her, she is a very determined young girl who wants, and derserves the best, out of life.
 oops sorry i had to edit this cuz i forgot to put i want to join the Kanako Brigade.

well if Naru wasnt smart enough to figure out what was going on with Kanako and she didnt attempt to kick everyone out of the Hinata-sou she probably wouldve gotten away with being Naru. Im not sure it wouldve lasted though, i dont Kanako could go on decieving her brother under someones identity.
and as far as Kanako making Shinobu cry, may be in the manga she did, but not intentionally, kanako just did alot things to make Shinobu leave and since Shinubo is prone to crying naturally she did. But in the anime, i dont ever recall Shinobu crying cept once, if anything Kanako's love for her brother caused Shinobu to be more determined into the truth for how Naru feels about Keitaro.

It seems that I can't check this thread yet, too many spoilers around. I have read the three first episodes of LHm XI by now, and I must say that Kanako rocks.
She's definitely not the type of girl with whom I'd fall in love with in the first place. But her way of acting is so cool. She's top sexy in her own sick way.

As I have been declared the new leader, the war is cancelled. GHK will now be a shrine to Kanako, as it should always have been, not just a brigade "bred for war".
First order of the day is to check her fanlisting for recruits. I´ve posted it in the "Love Hina" forum.
