The manga was GREAT, but the show was...well, I see how it spawned some LH-haters.
Not to say it wasn't good, it was just...different...

Although Motoko's face was hilariously wide I thought.

Too much fan service, not enough plot. I have very few problems wuth the anime, but some might think this. Although I thought it captured the style of humor that only english-translated anime have.

Please, feel free. I do prefer the manga to the anime, I must agree, but to get the ful Hinatasou experience it definitely preferable to get as much as you can of both Including LHA

Fan service is only welcome to male fans of series...as a girl, I don'y like all of it. But I'll suck it up-if you took out all the fan service, there wouldn't be much plot
I thought there was more fan service in the anime, I could be wrong...

I know the risks...I picked the manga up at the local library before I knew what it was, then I got hooked, and with all fan service aside, it was pretty good.
