Su probably wouldn't eat Gidget during the series timeframe, because then she would be caught on camera doing so... best to do it on the quiet....

"Gui Ling Gao" "龟灵膏" or "龜苓膏"

A kind of drink that is made from herbs and oiled turtle meat, the soup is then freeze into a black gel like form. When it is time to eat it, it is reheated back into soup form with chucks of the gel still in jelly form.

Think of it as turtle flavoured tea with jelly inside, this should be able to keep Kaola satisfy for a while.

They probably already have that in MolMol... might be where the Taiwanese got the idea from.

Kaolla might not be able to eat Gidget, although it is highly likely that nothing will stop her attempting it, but she will drink him, if given the chance!

Not many people in the world would eat things if they were told how the food actually came to be on the plate... "Would anyone like some freshh turtle squeezings?" just doesn't seem to cut it as a great culinary introduction...
