depends a lot...i'm 15 years old and i was around 12 when i started readin love hina...but dude, i must admit that i was caught by the first love hina picture...i saw in an anime magazine a picture of the anime, and i wondered "wut is that? seems very cool"..
i had never seen the anime but its energy caught me since then...

i bought another anime magazine a year after with a complete resume of love hina....when the manga came here (brazil) i bought it till the last edition...

i never got shoked with some pictures, and u all know wut i mean...but i always liked love hina cuz of the story, the characters and i dunno, i cant explain wut i felt when i knew love hina for the first time ^^...

i dont think it really does matter
I mean if characters of the story are in their younger teen years, so i guess it really doesnt matter. To me i dont see any danger of the series affecting young ppl, in fact i see it as teaching them a few life lessons. If Love Hina can affect our lives in various good ways, then what harm can it do to them.
